Jiangsu Yixing Ceramic Art Festival, sponsored by the Yixing People's Government, was first held in early May 1988. Since then, it has been held every two years and every year since 2013. Under the guidance of the tenet of "taking pottery as the medium, making friends with art, expanding contacts and promoting development", this Yixing pottery capital, known for its four treasures of pottery, cave, bamboo and tea, has expanded the popularity of Yixing pottery by holding festivals, and purple sand craft pottery has become a treasure collected by experts at home and abroad. According to folklore, Yixing purple sand pottery is not easy to taste in summer, potted flowers and plants are not easy to rot roots, which is the largest variety of Ceramics Art Festival commodity turnover.
